This rosewood bone marquetry etagere sold today via Weschler's Live Auction and I was the unexpected lucky bidder. It went for $950 with an additional $213.75 for the buyers premium. I was not in the market for another etagere (as is often the case with my antique purchases) but the marquetry and shape won me over. I was actually preparing to bid on another item several lots later and had set up my live auction console ready to bid. This cabinet came up and I had to grab it for what I feel was an irresistibly fair price. Now I need to decide whether I put my Renaissance Revival period etagere up for sale or maybe just find another empty wall somewhere... eBay Antiques No. 019
