Stamped George Hunzinger Aesthetic Chair
Stamped George Hunzinger Aesthetic ChairUp for sale is the George Hunzinger chair profiled on the back and inside of the book, "The Furniture of George Hunzinger - Invention and Innovation in Nineteenth Century America" by Dr. Barry R. Harwood (you can almost buy a chair for the price of this rare book). I showed you above what it is supposed to look like before I scare you with the actual image of the chair being sold. As I've said in previous posts, I don't shy away from restoration jobs on furniture if it is the right furniture (at the right price). In this case, the upholstery and the seat springs are the only thing that are a problem with the chair. Starting bid is $100 but the auction has just started and will end on the 21st. More details and pictures, here.
