A pair of George Henkels (attr.) pierced chairs has come up for auction with a starting bid of $1,500 each. The lister describes them as such:

"The top crest is lovely with 3 carved roses and 8 other flowers and leaves. Open scrolling with leaves, flowers surround the back. Each arm has a carved rose and another flower with leaves and a thick "C" scrolling form the curved arms that are tiered down to the seat. Graceful cabriole legs with a flower carved at the top of each leg. The seat skirt has a rose carved on it with other flowers and leaves."

You must bid on each chair separately - auction 1, and auction 2 and they run through January 21st.
